Many beginners in the Prepper community get caught up in the collection of gear and supplies, not bothering to learn how to use the items they are purchasing. Now, more than ever, it is extremely important to know how to use your survival gear. Even if you have read multiple books on the subject, nothing takes the place of hands-on experience. The Canadian Prepper made a video with recommendations for 3 pieces of survival gear that can give beginners an opportunity to hone their skills and build their confidence before things get out of hand.
